Hooves Haven Rescue is run by a team of horse handlers, equine welfare advocates, veterinary professionals, and dedicated volunteers who share one mission: giving rescue horses a second chance at a safe, permanent home. Every horse we intake is cared for by people who have spent years — in many cases, decades — working with horses.

We believe adopters deserve the complete, honest picture of every horse — including any health conditions, behavioral quirks, or training gaps. No sales pitch. No surprises.
Non-judgment
We never judge owners who surrender horses, adopters who return horses, or anyone in the equine community who reaches out for help. Circumstances change, and we are here to help — not to criticize.
Horse-first decisions
Every placement decision we make is guided by what is best for the horse. If a horse is not ready to be adopted, they will not be listed until they are. If a match is not right, we will wait for the right one.
Lifelong accountability
Our lifetime return policy is not marketing language — it is a legal and ethical commitment embedded in every adoption contract. No horse that leaves our care will ever face auction, slaughter, or abandonment. That is our promise.
